Trial 3 at The Hoek proved that the long walk over the rocks was more than worth it. From the moment competitors arrived, the atmosphere was electric, with incredible energy both in and out of the water. Clean conditions and quality waves throughout the day created the perfect platform for riders to showcase their skills and continue pushing their performance levels.
The beach was filled with excitement as competitors and spectators fed off the positive atmosphere and excellent surf. Across multiple divisions, the standard of riding was outstanding, with athletes pulling off impressive manoeuvres and delivering high-level performances throughout the event.
As the heats progressed, it became clear that the depth of talent within the squad continues to grow stronger with every contest. Watching riders gain confidence, push their limits, and perform under pressure has been exciting to see, particularly as momentum builds toward the SA Champs 2026 campaign.
Trial 3 highlighted the strength and potential within the team and offered another glimpse into the bright future of South African bodyboarding.
